  • Create a 3D Model of a Product: How Long Does It Take?
3D models can be roughly separated into “simple” and “complex” ones based on their level of detail. The secret to creating photo realistic models is the amount of detail included in the modeling process. Simply put more detail equals more realism. A highly detailed item such as a car requires many hours of modeling vs something like a cell phone with only a glass covering and metal case and a few buttons. Add to that texturing and rendering even the simple cell phone can take as much as two to three working days of time (18 - 24 hours). Please take into account the complexity of your product and its working parts, color and texture. If you are including animations or visualizations, production time will increase. Please expect a minimum delivery time of two to three weeks for most projects depending on existing production schedule.
  • I need a prototype what are my options?
There are two approaches to creating a physical prototype for your product. 3D Printing CNC Prototyping Let’s have a look at each of these prototyping approaches in detail. 3D Printing 3D printing technology has revolutionized the prototyping industry. With 3D printers, you can mass-produce prototype samples quickly by adding simple inputs using a process known as rapid prototyping. 3D printing is recommended for industries which require frequent and disposable prototypes for visual representation purposes. These industries include jewelry, accessories, and other consumer goods. Here are some pros and cons of using 3D Printing for prototyping: Pros It’s cost-effective. Ideal for mass production of prototypes. Limitless visual customization options. Cons 3D Printed prototypes can only be used for visual representation. Prototypes are fragile with moderate to low surface finishing. Prototypes lack functionality. CNC Prototyping CNC machining allows you to design the near-perfect and functional replica of your product. CNC prototypes can also be used to showcase a working demo of your product to potential clients. CNC prototyping is ideal for products like industrial equipment, medical devices, etc. Here are some pros and cons of CNC Prototyping. Pros Prototypes are highly functional and can be used as a final product. Reduces time during early prototyping and final product manufacturing. Prototypes are of much higher quality than 3D printed versions. Cons Huge purchase and installation cost. Operation requires expert assistance. Heavy maintenance is needed. Bonus tip: Virtually simulated prototypes can be your final prototype in some cases or substitute until you can get a physical one. This is possible especially with todays technology. A virtual prototype shows your product’s scale and how it will actually function via virtual simulation. In most cases animated simulators that allow interaction and color samples can be added.

  • 6 Reasons to Hire a web Designer
    1. You Want a Website That’s Unique and Creative If you’re like a lot of business owners, you don’t want a website that appears to be a “cookie-cutter” site that was built in a few days. When you build your own site, you run the risk of blending in with your competition. But a Designer will go far beyond pre-packaged plugins and themes that are already used on thousands of other sites. A Designer will create a site that’s unique and elegant, while strategically incorporating the branding of your organization. 2. You Need Customization You Can’t Do Yourself You probably already have a bunch of ideas that you want to immediately incorporate into your site. For example, you might want to feature a quiz for users that will help indicate which products you offer best solve their individual needs. If you don’t have a professional designer and developer available, your ideas could sit in limbo until you figure out how to create a solution that fits your needs. Of course, you’ll probably be able to find plugins that’ll help you out. But if you put too many plugins into use, you’ll negatively impact site performance and open yourself up to potential security concerns. Additionally, with the huge number of WordPress plugins available at your fingertips, it could take months to figure out the right configuration for your site. A professional website designer will know the right plugins to use without using so many that your site ends up bogging down. 3. You Value UX (User Experience) Professional designers are experts at knowing how to optimize your site for the best UX possible. And what users now expect is a simple and engaging experience. In addition, Google rewards sites that are user-friendly by giving them higher search results rankings. Google measures how long people stay on your website compared with your competition, then boosts the sites with the most engaged users. This is a solid reason why you should trust your website design to an expert. They’re already experienced in developing sites that will keep users engaged and interested in what you have to offer. 4. You Need to Win at SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Website design professionals have the expertise and tools to improve how your site performs in search rankings. They have the know-how to implement on- and off-page techniques for improved SEO. The best developers also know how to take what your competition is already doing, then improve upon it with your site. As an example, they’re able to find the top sources that send traffic to your competitors, then apply that knowledge to your site to make it rise in the SERPs (search engine results pages). 5. You Have Concerns About Mobile Optimization Back in 2018, Google made a user’s mobile experience one of its highest priorities by boosting the rankings of sites that are fully optimized for use on mobile devices. This is precisely why it’s now more important than ever before to hire a professional that instinctively knows how to create websites that are responsive. A professional website designer will create a site that flawlessly performs on desktop and mobile devices alike. And their designs will be fully compatible with all browsers, such as Firefox, Sarafi, and Chrome. 6. You Value Efficiency Have you ever heard the saying: “Focus on what you do best and outsource the rest…”? When you decide to start a business, it’s important that you focus on doing the things you’re best at. Everything else is ultimately a means to an end. If you don’t have WordPress or WIX website design expertise already in-house, seriously consider hiring someone. You won’t need to spend time learning the WordPress or WIX platform, figuring out how to secure it, or keep up with all the changes and updates. You also probably don’t want to place your site design and maintenance duties on a team member whose time is much better spent on other responsibilities that they know well. When you hire a professional website designer, you’ll be free to do what you (and your team) do the best: BUILDING YOUR BUSINESS!

In general you will need three items to build your site. A Domain, a server and the site itself. A domain refers to the address or name of your site ie. www.yoursitename.com. You will have to purchase this form a hosting provider. A hosting provider among other things provides hosting and your domain, they usually sell them as a package but can be bought separately. you can even buy a domain from one provider and hosting with another. once you have your domain and hosting service you can begin building your site. you have many options for this. you can use a service like wix or square space to build it yourself, you can use a CMS (content management system) like Wordpress or Drupal and build it yourself. or in both cases hire a designer to build on those platforms for you. Your last most expensive option is to hire a designer to build it from scratch.
